Jason Nuñez — President & CEO
Jason Nuñez is a public policy advocate and nonprofit leader, serving as President and CEO of Green Tech and Wellness Inc. With a proven record in government, Jason has helped pass over 35 bills in the Maryland General Assembly as Chief of Staff and has secured more than $20 million in funding to expand mental health care, advance public health initiatives, and strengthen legal empowerment in underserved communities.
Jason studied Public Administration with a concentration in Financial Management at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, bringing a grounded understanding of policy and budgeting to his work. Rooted in a deep belief in community-centered leadership, he is committed to building systems that empower the next generation to thrive.

Jonathan De La Cruz — Chairman of the Board
Jonathan De La Cruz is a distinguished nonprofit founder, entrepreneur, and community strategist with a strong record of advancing opportunity for historically marginalized youth. With deep experience leading both grassroots and high-impact initiatives, he has designed and implemented workforce development programs, youth enrichment models, and community empowerment strategies that center equity and long-term transformation. His work consistently engages local, state, and federal partners to ensure programs are both community-informed and results driven.
Jonathan has also led the cultivation of international corporate partnerships that expand access to education, career pathways, and entrepreneurial growth. His leadership is marked by an ability to align institutional resources with community-led priorities and to scale youth-centered solutions across diverse regions. Whether launching organizations from the ground up or stewarding cross-sector collaborations, Jonathan is committed to nurturing the potential of young leaders and building systems that foster inclusive, sustainable progress.

Maricruz Abarca — Board Member
Maricruz Abarca is a passionate advocate for education equity and grassroots civic engagement, with a deep commitment to expanding STEM access in underserved communities. As Chief of Staff to Delegate Simmons, she has helped lead statewide efforts to ensure that all Marylanders—regardless of background—can explore and experience meaningful science, technology, engineering, and mathematics learning.
Holding a Master’s in Legal Studies and a Bachelor’s in Philosophy, Law, and Ethics from the University of Baltimore, Maricruz blends academic insight with on-the-ground organizing. She champions bilingual access, culturally responsive education, and policy solutions that empower families and youth to lead. Her work reflects a belief in community-rooted leadership and the power of inclusive systems to shape generational opportunity.
